Enjoy a complete tour of the D-day Beaches from Le Havre ( from your pier) US Sites only
I will meet you in Le Havre at your pier at 8AM.
First we'll stop at the American Cemetary at around 9. 30AM to spend some time paying tribute to the "Men of Normandy".
Visit of the Visitor's center.
Then, we'll walk on the Omaha beach and I'll explain you how that day was so awful for the Big Red One and the 29th Infantry Div.
Then, I will show the Higgins Boats ( Landing Crafts) just next to Omaha.
12. 30AM Lunch on Omaha Beach just by the National Guard Momument and next to a huge German Bunker.
After a nice lunch, let's head toward the Pointe du Hoc.
where the US Rangers led by Lt James Rudder took this german strongpoint believed to host serious big guns.
Now, let's head toward Utah Beach to see where the 4th Infantry Division and Theodore Roosevet Jr landed and succesfully took the beach in one morning.
There, you will visit the Utah Beach Museum, and see some actual german bunkers.
On the way back we'll stop for apple brandy tastings and a distillery visit.
Back in Le havre for 6. 30PM.
