An amazing journey back in time to discover an humble and silent Rome...
You've probably seen the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum and many other sites but maybe you don't know that below streets, squares and churches lies an hidden city.
The Underground Rome tour is a sophisticated journey back in time to discover an humble and silent Rome. Few people have had the opportunity to experience the immense beauty and number of hidden treasures hiding underneath Rome!
The tour includes St. Clement's Basilica (with subterranean levels), a unique place for experiencing an archaeological time line from the Ancient Rome to the beginning of Christianity and the Middle Ages. Below the Basilica itself, we can visit also the IV century early christian church and one of the most interesting underground sanctuary dedicated to the God Mithra brought to Rome by the Roman legions posted in the Eastern provinces.
You can choose two other sites (take a look at the "ITINERARY") that I will communicate you through email.

If I could award more than 5 stars to Dino, I would! Dino kept us completely engaged throughout this tour - my 15 year old son initially started the tour in an extremely tired state (as we had been trying to pack in a lot into our holiday in the earlier stages) but Dino won him over in no time. Dino was a gem - he was extremely knowledgable in the history and details (plus urban legends!) of the sites we visited and kept everything interesting. Thanks Dino - this tour was the highlight for us in Rome!
