Overview of your Lusaka tour:

Join a tour as you visit the culture village, meet the indigenous people of the village and learn their traditional way of life. Their daily activities include wood carving, painting and decorating. You are given a chance to experience their day to day life Many travelers only get to see village life in their vehicle's window. Some villages have opened their doors for tourists, giving them a chance to experience their day to day life. I'll take you into the heart of villages, where you will be introduce to Zambia's rural culture. You will be shown how local huts are built or where children go to school. Dances and Masque are an integral in Zambian Culture. Visit a cultural center and learn more about the meaning, stories and tasks behind them.

Your Lusaka tour itinerary

-Museum: The museum collection is preserved in storage rooms, while other heritage objects are displayed in two galleries on the ground and upper floors of the museum building. The lower gallery is home to contemporary art, highlighting the way of life of the Zambian people through paintings, sculptures and models. The upper gallery tells a glowing story of Zambia's development, from ancient through historic past to contemporary way of life. The children's corner is yet another display attraction on the upper floor. -culture village is a historical craft market with houses designed in a traditional African Village setup. The Village has a number of thatched huts from where the traders sell their hand made souvenirs and crafts. The huts or 'rondavels' were built in the 1930's and 1940's by the colonial government for housing for single male laborers. These thatched one-roomed rondavelles are remnants of a total of 500 round houses built in the late 1930s and early 1940s. The roundavels represents the colonial
