Hoa Lu Tam Coc (90 km south of Hanoi) is the best choice for busy travelers. My one day tour package includes dozens of must-see sites. Hoa Lu Tam Coc now draws more and more attention to its tourism activities. The day tour includes religious worship, boating, history, excavation learning. The trip also offers you an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese history by visiting the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu and see a beautiful countryside of Vietnam by a boat sampan. Interestingly, those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed a 40 minute cycling ride along country lane (from Tam Coc to Bich Dong Pagoda, estimated time 40 minutes for 5km cycling 2 ways), experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields.
Meet the tour guide then depart for Ninh Binh province. Have a break en-route to free your legs. Arrive in Hoa Lu - once depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam and settled up in the 10th century. Visit temples of two dynasties Dinh and Le with very unique architecture in the old time. Visit an excavation area beside Le Dai Hanh temple, experiencing the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th century. Board the sampan boats in Tam Coc and drift down the river among the villages, mountains.
