Washington DC is one of the most beautiful and historic cities of the world. On this tour we can enjoy many of the memorials and monuments around the National Mall, including outside views of the White House and the Capitol (visits inside the Capitol may be arranged). See the magnificent Library of Congress, one of the most stunning buildings on earth, visit the Lincoln Memorial, VietNam wall, Korean War memorial, World War II memorial, the FDR and Martin Luther King memorials and others. Visits to Arlington National Cemetery will be included on request as well as the Iwo Jima monument. Our expert driver will take us in comfort to the locations you have chosen and wait for us while we visit. I have led many tours of Washington DC for years now and always present the facts in a very lively and entertaining way!
I can tailor an itinerary to your wishes. Top sights include: • the US Capitol and the National Mall, • the North Side of the White House • the Jefferson Memorial • Lincoln Memorial and Viet Nam wall. • Visits inside the Capitol may be arranged and we will be able to visit the stunning Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress. We can include a trip to Arlington National Cemetery and see the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier if desired. DC has some of the world's top museums including the National Air and Space Museum, the Natural History Museum and the National Gallery of Art. I have led tours in all of them and am very familiar with their exhibits, you can choose which ones you wish to see. It will be a very informative and enjoyable day!
