Join me exploring the National Park and active Kilauea Volcano. On this half day guided adventure I'll take you inside an ancient lava tube, in front of mystical steam vents, on top of a lava field and into a rainforest for a stroll! You'll not only witness the immense beauty of Hawaii but will gain a deep understanding of our culture from an actual practitioner of hula, lomi lomi, and la’au la pa’au. I'm well versed in ancient legends of our dieties, and it'd be my privilege to share my mana’o and love of the islands with you and your ohana as we explore this legendary site together. Besides the typical sites, I'll be happy to take you to the chain of craters road, to see where heaven and earth meet in a beautiful sky, sea and lava scape! I can also teach you to make rope with ti leaf and serenade you on the ukulele with Hawaiian songs! Besides, as a hula dancer, I can provide a hula workshop if you'd like! So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride to the home of our fire goddess, Pele.
·After we've gathered, we'll proceed to enter the Visitor's Centre. ·Afterwards, we'll visit the Volcano Art Museum too. ·Next, we'll visit the Volcano House, before getting in our vehicle. ·We'll then drive down Chain of Craters road, and we'll be stopping by 3 secret locations. ·What follows will be the Lava Tube, where we'll step inside. ·Later, we'll visit the Kilauea Crater (part of the world's most active volcanic mass). ·Afterwards, we'll reach the steam vents. ·At last, I will sing a parting song on the ukulele for you, called Aloha O'e (composed by the last queen of Hawai'i), and we'll either say our goodbyes at the park or drive back together to where you were picked up from.
