Why does Santa Fe look so unique? You'll learn the answer on this stroll through picturesque Santa Fe. There is nothing else like it in the U. S. ! On this personal walking tour, you'll step back through 4 centuries and discover how our captivating architectural details developed. You'll see a variety of styles and learn how they came together to create the enchanting streetscape of Santa Fe's Historic District. I fell crazy-in-love with Santa Fe on my first visit 25 years ago. The winding streets, lined with charming adobes and hidden courtyards, had me at first sight! And I love sharing my discoveries on this tour. How did the Pueblo people influence our architecture? Why did the Spaniards add romantic embellishments? How did we Americans modernize the look? We'll explore all these distinctive elements of Santa Fe's legendary style. Woven with colorful tales of the people of the times, our city's architectural story comes alive on this personal tour. Come join me on this fun walking tour!
I gladly accommodate groups larger than 2 people. More guests means more fun! Please contact me for details. Our walking tour in the Historic District covers about ¾ mile.
