Overview of your San juan tour:

The Camuy caves are open. This is a set of two different destination tours departing from San Juan all the way through the north west coast of the island of enchantment Puerto Rico. Choose two different destinations between The Window Cave (When is open), The Rio Camuy Caves park, Playa Mar Chiquita in Manatí or "la Cueva del Indio" The Indian cave or "Caguana" Ceremonial park. We usually visit two of these destinations La Cueva del Indio which include a nice drive along the coast, Mar Chiquita, the Rio Camuy Caverns or "Caguana". A stop for lunch in a good local restaurant is included on this experience.

Your San juan tour itinerary

Karst Region is the third largest region on the island and is located between the municipalities of Loiza and Arecibo. Arecibo is the islands largest city and is located 50 miles west from San Juan. We'll first meet up in the metropolitan area and drive all the way to the northwest coast. From here we explore different caves, sinkholes and/or beach areas. Puerto Rico has the third largest Cave System in the world and the only one that has an underground river passing right underneath more than 300 ft below. This Topographic Limestone formations were formed underwater millions of years ago and gave birth to one of the most exciting places in the world. You would choose between 2 destinations including "Cueva del indio, Cueva Ventana, "Mar Chiquita" beach or the Arecibo Observatory and The Rio Camuy Caves Park"

  • Other: Personal expenses. Entrance Fees to the attractions are not included on price. For example "Cueva Ventana" has an entrance fee of $20.38 for adults. This price is approximate and is based on entrance fees at the chosen destinations and our lunch stop. Adults pay $20.38 at Cueva Ventana, $14 per adult at the Rio Camuy Caves Park for example and seniors cost $9 to get in. If the group chooses to do a third destination like for example "Mar Chiquita" beach in Manati or any other destination on the way would cost $50 extra. The Camuy caverns are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
