Leave your hearts in San Francisco as you set out by crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and heading to the renowned picturesque California Wine Country. Stroll historic Sonoma Plaza, the last California mission built. Explore the lush vineyards of the Napa-Sonoma Valley, visit the wineries, sample fine wines and even choose your bottle of wine on this exciting tour through this world-famous wine region. I'll give you suggestions of wineries that fit most of your preferences when it comes to curiosity and tasting. Enjoy this bucolic setting and indulge in the "fruits" of the wineries' labor. . . You may customize your itinerary based on your interests and preferred wineries.
First pass through the Pacific Heights neighborhood and the Presidio in San Francisco, then cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge where you can take some pictures. From there head for a 45 minute drive to Sonoma and Napa region. There you will visit some of the wineries including Artesa, Domaine Carneros, Jacuzzi, Viansa and stop for a lunch at Sonoma Plaza. After lunch, you can visit more wineries, according to your preferences and time conditions.
