A comprehensive 5 to 6 hour tour of NYC symbols of freedom and liberty! Ferry ride from Battery Park (tickets include all ferry rides to the islands, entrance to the museums and expert guide). Of course The Statue of Liberty is the star of the show, the most iconic image of freedom, a modern marvel and an engineering feat. We may access the Statue's pedestal (depending on availability) for a close-up view of its inner structure and a breathtaking sight of the NY skyline. Another ferry will take us to the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island with an included self-guided audio tour. I will not be able to guide you inside as per Museum rules. We will then return to Manhattan.
We can meet at Battery Park for our first ferry to Liberty Island. Another ferry will then take us to Ellis Island for a visit to the grounds and museum. At the end of your visit you will head back to Battery Park in Manhattan by ferry. Some of the things you will see on this tour are: Battery Park Castle Clinton Statue of Liberty National Monument and Museum Ellis Island Immigrant Museum Contact me if you wish to visit only Liberty and Ellis Island or wish to add the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
