Contemporary Gallery Crawl - the HeART of NYC

One of the biggest draws to NYC is undoubtedly the Art World and you will be blown away by the vast collections and talents of the city. This 3- hour tour will begin at Chelsea Market, formerly The Nabisco Factory, where the Oreo cookie was invented! Grab a nosh to fuel up before we enter the highline where the convergence of nature, art & design are picture perfect. The historic elevated freight rail, turned city park, will lead us to the galleries of Chelsea. Here, we will be in the hands of a Ph. D. Arts Educator who curates an up to the minute selection of 6-8 galleries, providing an insightful journey through the contemporary art scene of NYC's world-renowned galleries. Specific galleries cannot be named as they depend on exhibits however we will spend approx. 10-20 min per gallery with a lively discussion about your interpretations as we go. In between galleries, we will take in the vibe of the Chelsea neighborhood and its unique variety of architecture as we go along.
