The Everglades and Miami Beach

This morning we'll take time to drive leisurely around to get to know the city and surroundings, including Little Havana, Wynwood Art District and of course, South Beach! We'll take time to stroll along famous Ocean Drive exploring on foot the unique Art Deco Historical District, then we'll continue our drive crossing over Biscayne Bay to the mainland. We'll enjoy a Cuban coffee watching the old-timers playing dominos on Calle Ocho in Little Havana. After lunch at a Cuban restaurant, we'll continue on to the Everglades. Everglades National Park is one of the country's largest parks and a treasure of biological diversity. Located less than an hour from the Miami metropolitan area, this subtropical wilderness is a combination of one and a half million acres of sawgrass prairie, shimmering waters, and mangrove forests sheltering a tremendous spectrum of wild life. We'll stop at the Miccosukee Indian Reservation for an exciting airboat ride before we return to Miami.
