Come on an adventure with me, along a trail that a majority of visitors and locals alike tend to miss out on doing. I'm talking about a hidden gem that not even most Hawaiians know about unless they've done a deep research. On this tour, we will be trekking a considerably less visited side of the island, hardly seen by the average tourist, so it's not crowded such as the "touristy" sites. You will be able to embrace the true island beauty with no distraction whatsoever. This tour is a "beginner" level hike and will be a 1 or 2 hour roundtrip, give or take, depending on your pace. This trek will put your mind at ease and expose you to the beauty of nature, so you enjoy the welcoming ambience of true paradise! Rest assured I will treat you as if you were one of my friends or family, but with the upmost respect. I would never push you if you are unwilling to continue a hike or feel too tired.
This tour begins before we have met up: 1) Preparation •The first thing you'd do is observe the weather and dress accordingly (yet comfortably), packing any essentials such as water, sunscreen, mosquito spray, etc. The "Friendship Garden" is this tour's proposed hike by default, but I can also offer you to hike in another area if you prefer (tour is customizable). 2) Begin Hiking -We'll meet at the hiking spot carrying all our essentials, from where we'll begin hiking at a leisurely pace to start warming up. -You'll notice we'll be trekking to a good extent within shaded areas, in forested spots, with plenty of viewpoints along the trail. 3) Midway Point -As we continually ascend up into the mountain, we can take a quick break & appreciate the surroundings, taking pictures if desired. 4) Final Stretch -We'll continue onward until we reach our final destination, Kane'ohe Bay, where we can opt to relax & take pictures too. 5) End -At last, we'll return to our starting point & reflect on our experience!
