Tour by a 9th Generation Nashvillian who was named the "Best Nashville Historian" in 2018 by the Nashville Scene. I have been on the Nashville Historical Commission, Historic Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals where I was Chairman. I am also a LEED AP BD+C.

I have studied the construction and preservation of Nashville's historic buildings along with the famous architects who built them. The history man inside of the building will also be told on the tour make the stories of these historic building come alive.

We will cover the famous Greek Revival buildings, Victorian Structures, Beaux Arts, Art Deco and Mid Century Buildings of Downtown Nashville. The tour will also discuss McKissack & McKissack the oldest African American architecture firm in the U. S. which was founded in Nashville. We will see one of their most famous local buildings.

Nashville's downtown has great diversity in architecture and most of these buildings have been beautifully restored.
