Join me on an immersive wildlife photography adventure through Rocky Mountain National Park. As a professional photographer and Colorado native, I’ll guide you to prime locations where elk, moose, bighorn sheep and other wildlife roam. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or a beginner, this tour offers personalized instruction to help you capture stunning images of the park's diverse fauna. We'll utilize quiet observation techniques to minimize disturbance, allowing for authentic wildlife photography opportunities. Depending on the season, we may witness behaviors like elk rutting or moose foraging. Together we'll explore areas like Moraine Park & the Alpine Tundra, known for their rich wildlife habitats. With the golden light of dawn or dusk enhancing our experience, you'll not only witness but also photograph the natural behaviors of these magnificent creatures in their native environment. This tour is designed to adapt to wildlife patterns, ensuring the best chances for memorable encounters.
-After we've gathered, our journey begins at Highway 36's Estes Park sign, offering a picturesque backdrop for a group photo. -From there, we'll enter Rocky Mountain National Park, focusing on wildlife-rich areas such as Moraine Park, Fall River & the Alpine Tundra (each renowned for sightings of elk, moose, deer, Pika, Marmots & bighorn sheep). -We'll proceed to travel where we need to find animals as they move through the 450 square miles of RMNP, making sure to cover hotspots for all inhabiting wildlife, such as: - Moraine Meadow - Sheeps Lake - Endo Valley - Fall River - Bear Lake Corridor -At last, I'll drop you off at an agreed point (special requests for finishing locations could be accommodated within reason). Note: Although there's never a guarantee for any wildlife to be in a spot, my intimate park knowledge will give us the advantage of seeking fauna thoroughly. That being said, if animals aren't out, I'll take you to other park locations with spectacular backgrounds to find the perfect shots.

We would ride along in my comfortable truck, a Ford F-250 with room for 4 and modern amenities. Groups of 4 or 5 will require an additional fee for larger vehicle accommodations, so in this case, contact me and I'll customize this tour for you. Either option ensures a relaxed and personalized experience as we navigate the park's scenic routes in search of wildlife, so choose the mode of transportation that suits you best. You'd even be welcome to drive your own vehicle, as I guide you to each destination. Just let me know.

We’ll meet at the iconic Estes Park sign on Highway 36, just before you officially enter town. I’ll be there to greet you and start the tour with a professional photo of you and your group in front of the Estes Park sign. If you're not interested in the Estes Park sign, the next ideal location would be the Estes Park Visitor Center, located at 645 CO-7, Estes Park, CO 80517. If you are staying in town, I can also meet you at your hotel or rental. Just let me know!
