A Stroll Through Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, and Cobble Hill (via East River Ferry)

We will start at the Pier 11 Ferry Terminal on the East River at Wall Street in Manhattan ($4. 00 per person). We will take the ferry, with fantastic views of the skyline as we cross the East River, over to Brooklyn Fulton Ferry near Dumbo. We'll experience spectacular views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and stop at the Time Out Market for a drink and maybe a snack. They have a wide variety of choices, including the famous Ess-a-Bagel and Pastrami Queen. Then we'll stroll up to Brooklyn Heights, learning its history and looking at its stunning architecture. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade will afford us one of NY's most stunning views. From the Promenade we'll proceed down Montague Street and then to the area known as Little Syria for some very yummy Middle Eastern treats. You'll see where George Washington stood, surveying the Battle of Brooklyn and mourning for his lost men. We then walk through Cobble Hill for some very cute shopping, and on to the F train at Bergen Street back to Manhattan.
