The Moray Speyside is an extraordinary region in The Highlands. It is located east of Inverness in the Highlands around the River Spey, Moray Firth to the north, and the Cairngorms National Park to the south. With the driest and warmest weather in Scotland, the region is an ideal place to be visited all year around not only for the whisky distilleries based in Moray Speyside but for its wildlife, food, drinks, beaches, perfect dark skies for stargazing, outdoor activities, historic buildings, castles, walking, fishing and golfing. The region is the home of the Single Malt Whisky, the place where the luxury cashmere is made, on its land are the ruins of a 13th-century cathedral known as the "Lantern of the North" and castles that were homes of the most influential clans in the region.
