Explore the beauty of Derry city with your local guide

Our tour will take us all around the city of Derry, also known as the Maiden City and Ireland's only remaining walled city. We'll begin in front of the Guildhall and proceed to walk around the old city atop the walls, from where we can view Saint Columb's Cathedral and many of the fascinating historical buildings in the city. Derry is a city steeped in history and stories, old and new, and we'll have plenty of time to explore both while we walk. After which we'll move down to the Bogside with its colourful murals and locals, to delve into Ireland's more troubled recent past, finishing up back at the Guildhall on the waterfront. Good walking shoes or boots are recommended for this tour, I also carry water, tea and fruit for refreshments.
