Walking tour of City of London political sights with your local guide - from the Lord Mayor to the Labour Party

We'll be starting from Chancery Lane and stroll through Georgian streets and Squares. We walk down historic Fleet Street and work our way through key sights associated with Government, Law, the Church, and Finance. We'll look at sights associated with freedom of the press, theories of the state, definitions of politics, foundation of the Labour party, revolutionary groups with American associations, ancient pubs, and places associated with womens' struggle for equality and landmark sights in Black, Irish, Jewish and Gay history. We also look at social housing and green policy. We will look at sights which I cover in more detail in my book available on Amazon "Key tourist sights of interest in the City of London". I worked for many years in the City of London in amongst others, the iconic Gherkin building. I'll share with you my insider stories about living, working and having fun in the city. We will have lots of time for refreshments in the restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs on our route
