Stratford-Upon-Avon Day Excursion

Let us go back over 400 years and visit the birthplace, home and place of buriel of England's re-known play-write, William Shakespeare. On arrival in Stratford-upon-Avon we will visit the birthplace of Shakespeare and then take a walk around the medieval city (dating back to the 12th Century) taking in many places connected to "The Bard" including his school and family home. You will then stop for lunch at the only public house licensed in two names, The Dirty Duck/Black Swan. We will then carry on with our walk including Trinity Church (where Shakespeare is buried). Depending on time you may be able to do a little shopping or make a quick stop off at Shakespeare's wife's (Anne Hathaway) family cottage , where she lived before meeting William. We will then make our way back to London.
