Royal London in a Day with a Blue Badge Guide (October to May)

Our day will start at Parliament Square, home to the Houses of Parliament & the world famous 'Big Ben', after which we we visit Westminster Abbey, avoiding the queues with our own dedicated entrance. The Abbey is of huge cultural significance to the nation, being the location of Royal weddings & burials as well as the nations Coronation church, it also has the Henry VII Lady Chapel which has been described as 'the wonder of the world'. After the Abbey we see the Changing the Guard, precise drills & band music - the perfect example of pomp & ceremony for which this country is renowned for & don't worry I know the best place to stand to avoid the crowds & get the best view! Our next stop is the historic Tower of London, previously a Royal palace & a prison, it has witnessed pomp & ceremony as is full of stories of treachery & torture!
