We'll be starting near St Paul's cathedral and our walk will include the Apothecaries' Hall, St Sepulchre, the Old Bailey, St Barts Hospital, St John's Gate, the Charterhouse, Plague pits. We'll see the Barber Surgeons' Hall, beautiful medicinal herbal gardens and other sights. We'll look at insights into the history of medicine and the pioneers who lived in London and have contributed to progress in healthcare. Dr Ann Robinson , a GP and medical journalist will provide medical insights during the walk and place the sights which we will pass into context. I worked for many years in the City of London and I'll share with you my insider stories about living, working and having fun in the city. We'll have lots of time for coffee, lunch (sandwich, quick snack, or one of the many special restaurants) and perhaps visit one of the many amazing and historic pubs in London.
