This tour will focus on one or two galleries or a museum from the following options: Tate Britain Tate Modern The National Portrait Gallery The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square The British Museum The Victoria and Albert Museum. Enjoy a carefully curated and thematically confident tour of the most significant gallery exhibits in your chosen gallery or museum. Alternatively you can visit some smaller galleries around the Mayfair district in Cork Street and explore culturally significant highlights in the area. Optional Art Tuition! Please bring a sketchbook if you want to draw and take notes. I am an experienced art teacher. I will include up to two special exhibitions per person at the gallery of your choice.
We will meet at the gallery or museum of your choice from the following: The National Gallery The National Portrait Gallery Tate Britain Tate Modern The Victoria and Albert Museum The British Museum Outside Fortnum & Mason for Mayfair galleries After the tour I will guide I will treat you to tea, coffee or a fresh juice and a cake or scone or snacks at a carefully chosen venue where you can sample tea and cakes ior scones or choose a snack and drink. You may book this tour on several days to see a few of the galleries/museums or just one tour.
