Best of London: Half-day Highlights Walking Tour

If you're visiting London for the first time, this is an excellent way to see its most iconic sights in half a day. I'm an expeienced guide with a passion for the city and its history, and I'll tell you the stories behind these sights. We'll start with a stroll through St James' Park, one of London's Royal parks, to Buckingham Palace, home of the Royals since Queen Victoria's time. Then we'll head to Trafalgar Square, with its famous fountains and statues. Next we'll pass the mounted guards of the Household Cavalry on our way to Westminster Abbey, where Charles III was crowned. After seeing the Houses of Parliament and admiring Big Ben, you'll have the chance to experience London's underground trains when we travel to another great London icon, St Paul's Cathedral. We'll end by crossing Millennium Bridge (known as the wobbly bridge) to Shakespeare's Globe theatre, where our tour will end. We can stop along the way at any time to have a coffee break and a rest!
