Glasgow is a city full of history - you can find it in its architecture, on its streets, and in its plethora of museums and galleries. This tour will take you on a journey from Glasgow's founding father, through to its modern-day masterpieces. We'll start our tour at Glasgow Cathedral, where we can explore not only the cathedral and Glasgow Necropolis, but also the St Mungo's Museum of Religious Life and Art, and the Provand's Lordship, one of the oldest buildings in Glasgow. From there, we can head towards Glasgow Green and the wonderful People's Palace - a museum designed to show off the history of the city as told by the Glaswegian people themselves. Walking to Buchanan Street, we can enjoy the Gallery of Modern Art, and stop at the Lighthouse, a fantastic art space and gallery in a building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This tour typically takes around 8 hours. With plenty of time built into the day for coffee and lunch, this tour is the perfect way to explore Glasgow at your own pace.
