Why visit Glasgow? Often overlooked by some visitors to Scotland, Glasgow is an undiscovered gem that promises a truly enchanting experience. Scotland's largest city seamlessly weaves together a tapestry of rich history and contemporary culture, with its Victorian architecture exemplified by iconic landmarks such as the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Renowned for its vibrant arts scene, Glasgow boasts world-class galleries, theatres, and music venues that beckon exploration. The city's diverse culinary offerings, accompanied by the warmth of its friendly locals and the vibrant tapestry of street art, create an inviting and lively atmosphere. Delving beyond the surface, Glasgow unveils a fascinating history spanning centuries, coupled with intriguing social narratives. Whether your interests lie in history, the arts, or simply soaking in the unique ambiance of a place, Glasgow ensures an unforgettable and enriching travel experience.

Your Edinburgh tour itinerary

- 8am pick up at Edinburgh Hotel followed by a 45 mile drive over to Glasgow. - Our first stop is the awe-inspiring Glasgow Cathedral, a testament to the city's ancient roots. - From here it is short walk to the Necropolis, a Victorian garden cemetery full of wonderful architecture, sculpture and fascinating stories. - We will then travel down Glasgow's High street where you will experience what is left of the medieval part of the city. - Then it's off to Finnieston Square where we can view the Finnieston crane. - Our next stop will be a visit to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery followed by lunch. - After lunch we will visit the peoples palace and the Dalton Fountain, the largest terracotta ever constructed. - Our final stop for the day will be George Square and the Glasgow City Chambers. On a weekday, you are allowed to go inside and marvel at the 3-storey marble staircase - which we believe rivals The Vatican. - Finally, we drive back to your Edinburgh Hotel.
