Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover Castle

This full day tour will take us to what many consider to be one of England's most picture-perfect settings, namely Leeds Castle, situated on two islands in a serene lake set in beautiful grounds and we'll view some of the countryside of 'The Garden of England', namely the county of Kent, en route. Next up it's Kent's only city, Canterbury, one of Britain's most historic locations, where we'll visit the world famous cathedral, the oldest and among the finest in the country. After a break for lunch, we shall head to the formidable fortress that is Dover Castle, often dubbed The gateway to England, where we can explore Henry II's iconic Great Tower, the wartime and medieval tunnels, and the First World War command post as well as taking in stunning views across The English Channel, one of the world's busiest shipping lanes. There'll also be an opportunity to take in the iconic White Cliffs of Dover from St. Margaret's at Cliffe, then it's back to the cruise terminal in plenty of time for your ship's departure.
