A Half Day Tour of the Highlights of the Cotswolds 4-5 hours

I will pick you up from your hotel, or train or bus station, in the Cotswolds, and drop you back there at the end of the tour. We can start this tour whenever you like.
We will visit some of the best known places in the Cotswolds but also go on some of the quaint backroads.
For train stations I suggest Cheltenham.
Let me know if you are a fan of the TV series Father Brown as I can include Blockley in the tour which is known as Kembleford.
It is really hard to do a half day tour of 4 hours as the villages are spread apart, so 4 hours will probably be more like 5 hours.
This tour is flexible so we can change the start time and the route according to where I pick you up and to what you have already seen.

We make our first call at Stonehenge, traveling through mysterious Wessex, arriving before the crowds in the early morning. Facts and theories abound at this ancient site, why and how? The most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and now a world heritage site, Stonehenge stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain. A walking Tour of Bath From Bathers to Bombers

From Bathers to Bombers is a unique tour that explores important events in the development of the World Heritage Site of Bath; from the first century Roman holiday spa, through to the fashionable resort of the 1700s, and then on to the 1900s and Bath at war when the city suffered 3 phases of intense bombing that left scars we can still see today.

The attack was known as one of the Baedeker air raids as the city was said to have been singled out from the famous Baedeker Guide Books, the equivalent of today's Lonely Planet Guides. The book describes Bath as 'the chief winter spa in Britain … a handsome city, unrivalled for its combination of archaeological, historic, scenic and social interest. A city of crescents, terraces of Bath stone and rising tier above tier'
