You will begin your explorations of this Fairytale region of Cappadocia from Kaymakli Underground City, an eight level cave underground city which was built for providing shelter for early Christians that protected themselves from invaders. It is said that this extraordinary structure had the capacity to house a total of 5000 people.

You will also have the chance to have a lunch at one of the families home from Kavak Village. That is one of the reasons why I love this tour so much: you get the chance to see how people live in the village. A true local experience!

After lunch we will see how rug weaving is done and see how wool on a sheep turns into a beautiful and meaningful piece os art which is one of our most important handicraft.

Before the tour ends, you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum, where we will see the monasteries and some of the best Greek Orthodox churches dating back to 10th and 11th centuries.

Another amazing location and probably the best place to shoot fabulous pictures are the Monks Valley (Pasabaglar) from where we will continue our journey through time and space will continue on toward Devrent, Imagination Valley. The visit to this valley will definitely make you feel like you're in a fairy tale land surrounded by lots of human and animal-shaped fantasy fairy chimneys.

Next on our list is Goreme Panorama, a great panoramic place with a view of pigeon valley where we will take a short break to enjoy in Turkish coffee.

Avanos Town is next on our list, settled on the shores of the Red River and well-known for pottery making, an Art from Hittite Civilization still worth seeing.
