Mosques and Secrets of Greatest Architect Sinan

One of the greatest architects of his lifetime, Sinan. He was known as Koca ( Grand ) Sinan. He was born in Central Anatolia, near Kayseri, and moved to Istanbul when he was 22 years old. He was accepted by Jannisery Base and had a chance to learn military engineering techniques.

He became the head architect of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificant and built over 300 structures. Over 100 of these buildings are located in Istanbul today.

We are going to have a chance to visit some of these amazing buildings with their history, beauty, and legends behind them.

A magical journey back to 500 years ago

A great artist, called as the 'Turkish Michelangelo', built more than 400 works including bridges, ships, mosques, baths, schools, tombs, aqueducts, yet never was allowed to call himself "divine" as his contemporaries in Europe.
