Overview of your Istanbul tour:

Eceaabat town of Gallipoli peninsula is 309 km to Istanbul, about 75% of the highway is an expressway, the rest is divided double lanes for each side of the highway, rather scenic day trip. It is about 3 hours trip each way after clearing Istanbul. This tour is in a comfy VW Passat sedan car, it can accommodate upto 3 - 4 passengers. We will visit the famous memorials, including Anzac Cove (Anzak Koyu) and North Baech ( famous landing spots of Anzacs) Chonuk Bair ( Conk Bayırı) - New Zealand Memorial, johnston Jolly memorial ( and more at walking speed driving or by taking a break at) The Sphinx, visit Australian Memorial at Lone Pine, 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial. We will overlook Suvla Bay and environs from Chonuk Bair Heights. On two day tours or extended excursions the southern peninsula for the British and French landing zones Around Cape Helles and Krithia, Achi Baba. Add on detour cross continent Visit to ancient Troy on the Asiatic site on this single day tour is not available.

Freshly caught fish is not to be missed as simple as sardines or horse mackarel are common. Other select fresh fish, calamari and shrimps, but they also have great fresh veggie starters, or grilled chicken for those not into sea food. Approx 24$ U.S. a person without drinks.Otherwise also a very efficient fresh basic also delicious lunch by the roadside about 10$ a person average.Basic good restaurants, or fine seafood restaurant on the waterfront with charming Dardanel Straits view. ( adds about 45 minutes to the return time at no add on cost) . b. Gas for the car is not included, the car begins the tour with a full tank, to be filled up upon return to Istanbul. , c. expressway fares, bottled water, soda of your choice in car are provided and included.(Gallipoli is on the European side of Dardanel Straits, and the tour does not need to cross over to Asiatic Side. In the event of leisurely time if travelers would like to cross to the Asiatic side to see say the main city Canakkale, the ferry or bridge fares are not included.)
