Assos is a very charming holiday spot with its boutique hotels, seafood restaurants as well as its historical backyard. Once upon a time St. Paulus had made one of his journey's to and had visited this city, in the theatre preached to the citizens about christianity. Aristotle had also stayed here for the sake of his lover Pythias 3 years and given lectures in gymnasium to the youth. while you are walking up or down in the streets of Behramköy village, smell the scents of lemon and wild thymes which are being sold cheaply, enjoy the taste of your Turkish coffee with chewing gum aroma in traditional tee house near the mosque or taste the ice-cream with various flavours. And to my mind Aristotle had not fallen in love with Pythias only, but he had been fascinated by the enormous view of the endless Aegean and Lesbos. Come and discover all these beauties.
-1, 5 Hours drive to Behramkale Village (drive-by Ezine and Ayvacik Districts). -After 5 minutes of walking uphill (fairly steep) we visit the acropolis Athena Temple and enjoy a very excellent view of Lesbos Island and the turquoise colour Aegean water. You will have very charming moments to memorize with photos. -Then walk down to the village for a nice Turkish Coffee (with gum mastic aroma and cooked with the cup in firebrand), smelling the food, ice-cream cones and waffles (summer-autumn). -By looking at the city walls we drive down and visit the medieval church, Agora, theatre and the city. -Later have a break for lunch in the antique harbor and free time (As the cliffside rocks are being fixed, this spot is unable to be reached until 2024. ) -After the tour finishes, return to your hotel in Çanakkale.
