I love to spend a day in this area, showing you the typically alpine villages, waterfalls, gorges, and a great place for lunch where we can have some Swiss fondue with stunning views over the mountains Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger. A very local cable car will bring us up the mountain; inside fit only 4 people or one cow! Located in the centre of Switzerland, on the shore of Lake Lucerne and right at the base of Pilatus Lucerne is definately the most scenic city of Switzerland. It gained ist wealth due to the location on the trading route between Italy and Germany and many buildings give you an insight of the precious past of Lucerne. Especially the lake shore, covered wooden bridges and cobbled alleys warrant gorgous shots for fotographers. Visit as well the two main churches of Lucerne, the famous Lion Monument and the town-hall with ist own brewery. Tips for restaurants and shopping will be given.

We will meet at the Caritas Velostation which is located just next to the train station Lucerne.

After welcoming you I will introduce you to the electric cargo bike and then you have enough time to drive in a safe area to get used to the bike. As soon as you feel safe and comfortable we start our tour.

In case you don't want to drive the bike by yourself, it is a pleasure for me to drive you around. We leave the city center and drive towards Horw, one of the richest areas in Switzerland.

During the tour, we will do many stops where I will tell you facts and personal stories about the area and my life. The tour is great for biking and really safe, moreover, we drive slowly to enjoy the surroundings and take some great pictures.

Optional activities:

- we can stop at the best coffee place in Lucerne and have a coffee degustation;

- we can visit a farm and eat dishes Angus burgers and enjoy a glass of wine. The farm is located in a beautiful place with a fantastic view of the alps.

Our tour will begin in Lucerne, were I suggest that we meet at the train Station of Lucerne were we will take a nice train ride from Lucerne To Ballenberg (about 1 hour 15 min).

Ballenberg is a huge outdoor park near Interlaken. The most special thing about Ballenberg is that you find traditional Swiss houses from all regions of Switzerland in this park (German part, Italian part, French part and the east of Switzerland).
Even I myself learned a lot more about the Swiss culture visiting this place in the last years. It is great to see where the Swiss culture is coming from and to learn how simple life was so long ago compared to now. You can walk around through hills and forests surrounded by mountains while seeing many different interactive traditional attractions.

There are small stores too where you can buy souvenirs and Ballenberg produced food and clothes and there is a horse carriage to get around as well.
The park also includes animals like cows, pigs so it's a wonderful place to go with the family!
