This tour really show you my own favourites in Stockholm. We see the worlds most well preserved warship from the 1600s, an exciting and amusing viking experience, And we stroll through the medieval Gamla Stan with its shops, Cafés, ginger bread houses and winding alleys. This is not a "must see" tour. It is a "want to see tour" During the tour you get a lot of information over the Swedes, Stockholms past and present, Sights and what to do and see. Although not to much. You are here to enjoy, aren't you? At the Vasa museum you can also see the old Steam Ice breaker S/S St Erik and a light house ship. During or atthe end of the tour you can ask about what to do and see, perhaps over a "fika". Fika is something every Swede wants to enjoy at least once a day.
When we meet we talk a little about your interests and adapt the tour accordingly. One idea could be that we start with a walk in Old Town, catch the ferry to Djurgården from which we see a lot as the bohemian island Södermalm and old naval base Skeppsholmen. Then we have a viking experience and end up at the world famous Vasa museum. • Pick up at your choice within the City • Old town • Pairlament, Royal Palace and Opera from the outside • Some majestic wiews • The Viking experience • The Vasa museum and we will learn about • Stockholm and Sweden • The Swedes and their habits and at last • I leave you at your hotel or a nice restaurant. But again: The tour will be adapted to your interests and include my personal favourites and hidden gems.
