Do you want to get a great introduction to Stockholm and at the same time discover new things about Alfred Nobel, the inventor of the dynamite and the founder of the Nobel Prize? Then this is the tour for you!! You will get to feel the past in the Old Town and then meet the present in the downtown and at the same time get closer to Alfred Nobel.
We will visit the City hall, home for the annual Nobel Prize Banquet and the City Council. After the visit we'll take a short walk to the Old Town (approx 15-20 min). In the Old town we'll stroll along the cobble stoned streets and alleys and feel the wings of the past. We will pass the Cathedral, the Royal Palace and on the Main square we will find the Nobel museum, where we will enter to learn more about Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite and the founder of the Nobel Prizes. We will then move to the downtown by walking (approx 15-20 min). Even here there are things to discover about Alfred Nobel, as where the Nobel Prizes are awarded, but also about how the whole downtown overtook a great change in the 50's and 60's.
