Stockholm Highlights Plus

We will start by visiting the magnificent City hall, where the annual Nobel Prize Banquet is held, as well as being the home for the Stockholm City Council. Leaving the City hall we will walk to the Old Town (approx 15-20 min) during which we will pass by the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, the Main square (Stortorget), the building of the Swedish Academy. You will go back in time, walking on the cobble stoned narrow alleys, to when everything started here in Stockholm. From the Old Town we will catch a ferry (approx 10 min ride) to get to Djurgården, where we will visit the Vasamuseum, the only existing 17th century ship above the water. This is also where you can get something to eat if you would like to. Waiting for us outside the Vasa museum, after our visit, we will have our vehicle (minibus or van or car) that will take us through the downtown towards Södermalm, the bohemian/hipster area. You will discover how the Stockholmers live just outside the municipality of Stockholm.
