City Hall - Old Town

We'll start the tour at the City hall. Built during the National Romantic area, known for hosting the Nobel banquet on the 10th of December. After a guided tour in the City hall we'll continue to the most modern part of the city that was more or less demolished in the 50th/60th when the Modern Stockholm City Plan took place, having large areas of the city center transformed into neighbourhoods of shoppingmalls and parkinghouses. We'll continue walking towards the Old Town where we walk pass the Swedish Parliament, built in the beginning of the 20th Century, very inspired by the Neoclassical style. The tour ends in the Old Town where the cobbled-stoned streets tell their own story about people that has lived there going back many centuries in time. We'll end the tour with a typical Swedish fika in one of the old cafées.
