The Old and New Neighbourhoods of Malmö

Malmö is a fast-growing tourist city, complete with a beautiful old town and a variety of vibrant modern neighborhoods. Many people are now choosing not to skip this wonderful city on their way to the nearby Danish capital of Copenhagen, and this didn't happen by accident. Malmö is also fast becoming a strong contender for the food capital of Sweden, with its huge variety of bars and restaurants. Join me on a walking tour of the old and new neighborhoods of Malmö. We begin in the historic old town and then venture out to the modern district of the West Harbour. There will also be an opportunity to check out the hip and bohemian district of Möllan, an area often referred to as "Malmö's Kreuzberg"! We will learn about the history, both older and more recent, as we walk together around this loveable Swedish city! There will also be a chance to try out local food and sample beers and wines along the way. This tour is quite flexible as many of Malmö's sights are within close proximity!
