Birds of Sri Lanka - Bird Watching Multi Day Tour from Colombo

The endemic species are mostly inhabiting Kitulagala and Sinharaja. Lodge 5 days there to spot rare and endangered Owl species. Green-billed Coucal, SL Thrush, Spot-winged Thrush, SL Hill Myna, and a few more bird species are found only in the area. On the hills country very rare SL Whistling Thrush, Yellow-eared Bulbul, and a few rare winter migrants are expecting to spot. Lowland, south of the island is included as a bonus to catch many winter migrants in large flocks and local breeding residents. Jeep safaris in 3 National Parks including Bundala Bird Sanctuary, were added to make the tour exciting. But the main objective is to spot birds. However, most of the time, you must get ready to walk with your camera and spotting scope if you have one. But if not, don't worry. I have a professional Japanese-made spotting scope for the field.
