Private Tour: Toledo, City of Three Cultures

Surrounded by Tagus River as a natural defense, the old city of Toledo is just on the top of a hill close to Madrid (25 minutes by train). Founded by Romans, Toledo is known as the city of the three cultures and tolerance because of over 400 years of Muslims, Jews and Christians living together and today, the city is the result of this cultural wealth. We'll start our tour, enjoying the main view of Toledo from "El Valle" you'll feel the history of the city of the three cultures while you learn bout the origins of the former capital of the kingdom. We'll continue walking around the Jewish quarter visiting and exploring the culture, and art of the old synagogue, Santo Tomé's church (where is the masterpiece by El Greco). Last but not least, the Main Cathedral "Saint Mary of Toledo" the jewel of the city we'll be waiting for us in the heart of Toledo.
