Half Day Tour of Seville History

We will start by Plaza del Triunfo, the square with the biggest concentration of power in our city, as it is surrounded by the Royal Palace (military building), the Cathedral (religious construction) and the Archive of Indies (economical one). At the City Hall and Plaza Nueva, we'll learn about the origins of the christian city. By the riverside, we will discover deeply the influence of the House of Trade in Seville as well as the walk that was made by the products and merchandises coming from the New World and arriving to Seville. We will continue our tour with the Alfonso XIII Hotel, built after holding a competition. Our next stop will be the Royal Tobacco Factory (headquarters of Seville's University), setting for Carmen, opera by Bizet, where we will learn the uses of the tobacco. To finish, we will visit the Plaza de España, summit work of Anibal González, where all the benches of the different provinces of Seville are represented.
