Segovia & Avila: Two Medieval Cities Tour

We will start the day visiting the city of Segovia, with possibly the best Roman aqueduct in the world. We will then enter into its streets and medieval buildings; palaces, churches, neighborhoods, etc. , to the heart of the city, the Plaza Mayor, with the theater, the last Gothic cathedral in Europe, the town hall and the church of San Miguel, where the proclamation of Isabella the Catholic as Queen of Castile took place. Then we will visit the castle of Segovia, the fabulous Alcázar, residence of 22 medieval kings during almost the entire Middle Ages. After lunch, we will go to Avila to visit the city with the best medieval walls in Spain and one of the best in Europe. Avila has Romanesque churches, palaces and in its stones you can breathe the story of its most famous character, Santa Teresa de Jesús, one of the most interesting female characters in the history of Spain. * Itinerary can be customized upon request.
