Centennial Train Journey to Soller from Palma - Private Tour with Museum Visit

I invite you to travel on an old wooden train inaugurated in 1912, through the Tramuntana mountains to reach the Sóller Valley. On this approximately hour long journey, we'll pass by plantations of centuries-old, even thousands-year-old olive trees! With these landscapes as a backdrop and the characteristic noise of an old train, sitting in its leather seats, we'll feel like those romantic travellers from the beginning of the XXth century. Our tour's main destination however is the Can Prunera Modernist Museum, where we'll be able to see the building's architecture and furnishings which belonged to a family who lived between Sóller and France like many other families from Sóller do. This close connection between Sóller and the south of France is due to the large number of oranges that were commercialized for over a century. I remember when I was a child and my grandmother would announce that the French neighbors had arrived. This was good news because it meant the arrival of summer!
