Art Nouveau, an Ancient Estate and Oranges Private Tour

One of my favorite excursions and a favorite with guests since we visit one of the most beautiful spots in Mallorca. Leaving Palma behind we'll head north to visit an ancient estate of Arab origin which gives us an excellent idea of how a rural farm was run in the 10th century. On to Soller, a unique Mediterranean town with French influences. Time to mix with the locals, visit the town shoemaker, taste homemade "sobrasada" and artisan ice cream of locally grown lemons or oranges. Let me show you some of my favorite spots in town! We'll drive along the Mediterranean coast to the village of Deià, to this day a magnet for artists and writers. With a drink in hand, take in the views from the terrace of Mallorca's most beautiful hotel, Belmond La Residencia. We'll visit the sculptor in residence who, when available, will give us a personal tour of the sculpture garden and the collection of Miró graphic art.
