The Market Tour - Gran Canaria Shore Exursion

Spain is world-renowned for its exceptional gastronomy, from jamón ibérico and artisanal cheeses to fine wines and olive oil. Gran Canaria adds its own unique touch, with tropical fruits, local fish, volcanic coffee from the Agaete Valley, hand-crafted goat cheese, bananas, and even sugar cane, all shaped by its rich volcanic soil and microclimates. We’ll begin with a relaxed breakfast of tropical fruit, top-quality jamón ibérico, and a taste of the island’s rare local coffee. Along the way, we’ll explore two different markets, meet friendly vendors, and sample some of the island’s finest products. The tour could also include a visit to the historic Castillo de la Luz Fortress and a stroll along Las Canteras beach, before we wrap up with delicious tapas or pinxos paired with local Gran Canarian wines.
