Overview of your Presov tour
Are you brave enough to explore the wildest gorge of Slovak Paradise national park by Via Ferrata? If your answer is YES, I will be more than happy to guide you through this amazing part of Slovak Paradise and kindly share with you everything I know about this beautiful area, where I grew up. The ascent will be partly quite challenging, but we will be always safe, secured by the Via Ferrata sets and helmets to protect ourselves. We will have to walk by many iron steps above the river and climb several ladders next to waterfalls to reach the top of this brathtaking gorge, called " Kyseľ ". Anyway, I think it is always better to see photos from the area, than to read all of the informations. So please feel free to have a look on my photos from this stunning tour, to see how beautiful this area really is and to get know what exactly you can expect. There is also possibility to visit traditional Slovak restaurant at the end of the tour and to taste some delicious local meals and drinks.
Your Presov tour itinerary
• The starting point of the tour is in Čingov village, which is one of the most famous tourist resorts in Slovak Paradise n. p. We will start walking by relaxing footpath through the forest alongside the river " Hornád " (1 hour of walking). • Just after arriving at a beautiful meadow (right under the most famous viewpoint " Tomašovský výhľad"), we will follow the "Biely Potok "stream, through "Tomašovská Belá" valley. • After 2hours of this relaxing walking, we will finally get to the bottom of the "Kyseľ" gorge. I will give you instructions on how to use the Via Ferrata set, how to put it on etc. , and when we are all ready, we will start to climb up the gorge. • Once we successfully reach the top, we can take some snacks or drinks in the restaurant. I hope this little break will refresh us and give us more energy for the way back (2, 5 hours) through the forest, where we will enjoy some beautiful viewpoints.
