A brief stop at one of the most famous beaches Beau-Vallon where the waves will gently caress your feet. A small tour around the north of the island will be followed by a trip to the mission lodge, a breathtaking view of the west coast. The tea plantation and factory will be next to where you can purchase a range of locally produced tea.

Taste the spirit of Seychelles as we visit the rum distillery home of the Takamaka rum. Various clear water beaches will be visited as we conclude the day returning you back to your hotel/cruise ship.

The La Misere view point is a nice spot to discover the east side of the island...We can see the National Marine Park down.... fantastic views.

The Giant tortoise can be found mostly every where in the Seychelles, Botanical Garden is not an exception.... kids love to feed them.

Some snorkeling in the afternoon will Cool everyone down from the hot weather to Anse Royal Beach.

Mahe Island Half Day Tour

What a great way of spending a few hours on Mahe Island. Join me on this once in a lifetime tour. Start by visiting the Botanical gardens: home of the giant tortoises and the famous coco de mer.

Then we'll go through Victoria, the vibrant & colorful capital of Seychelles, there we shall visit the Hindu temple followed by the Victoria market which is ever so busy with the sweet aroma of fresh spices. The iconic Clock tower is next on the agenda as we shall stop for some very memorable photos.

Will then make our way up the Sans Soucis road towards Mission lodge not forgetting to have a quick stop by the bel air cemetery: the oldest one dating back centuries. Mission lodge & its astonishing view are next on the agenda followed by the tea factory where a range of locally produced tea is available to purchase.

The last stop will be at a local cafeteria for a scrumptious lunch followed by an hour of swimming at one of the most beautiful beaches the island has to offer. Thereafter you will be dropped back.

Full Day Tour Seychelles: Curieuse Island & St. Pierre

On no other island in the Inner Seychelles, will you have the opportunity to experience more than 200 giant land tortoises living freely. You will be surprised how active the tortoises can be compared to their confined species! Mind you, they do make fantastic models and will not be shy to show you their moves!

Afterwards, a nice hike through dense mangrove forests leads to the other side of Anse St Jose. The island was once home to a colony of Leprosy patients who resided on this side of the island - and the ruins of their homes can still be seen today. After a nice creole barbecue style lunch, you'll have the opportunity to relax on this beautiful beach before we head off to snorkel at St. Pierre.

You will be touring the sublime and majestic building which is a National Monument was called "Government House" during the years when Seychelles was a British colony and was under the authority of a Governor and his Legislative Council. State House was also the residential home of the governor.

The building was designed and built in 1910 by William Marshall Vaudin who was the son of the civil chaplain Adolphus Vaudin. If the two-storied portico ornamented with white pillars is characteristic of Edwardian splendour of that epoch, the design of the building reflects the aesthetics of colonial architecture that then prevailed in the tropical parts of the British Empire. Its first tenant was William Edward Davidson, Seychelles' second Governor. He occupied the house during the last year of his tenure in 1912.
