Belgrade: Path through centuries in a half-day tour

I can meet you at your hotel lobby, main train or bus station, river port, or elsewhere. - Then we start from Kalemegdan park which surrounds the city fortress. We take a walk through the park into the inner fortress gate and take a time to enjoy the view at the confluence of the Sava into the Danube river. As an option, we can enter the Military museum which is situated in the Kalemegdan park (closed on Monday). - Then we move to the Belgrade main street with its old buildings and cozy shops and restaurants. - We visit Saborna Cathedral, the most important church of Belgrade and the oldest kafana in Serbia right opposite. - From there we go to the Republic square, the heart of the city, and we finish our tour in Skadarlija, a charming little street all in flowers, with many traditional restaurants, live folk music, and great dine and wine. During our tour, we will make some breaks for taking photos, have a coffee or glass of wine, or even lunch, shopping, if you want to.
