Romania is not just a country yet to be discovered by the international tourists, but a complex teritory that will leave you speechless after visiting it. I'm not saying this only because it's my country, but because I know it if I compare Romania with all the other countries I visited so far. We'll see the beautiful road through the clouds (Jeremy Clarckson from Top Gear BBC declared it "the most beautiful road in the World") and make the most out of our trip. The Curtea de Arges monastery (Romania's Taj Mahal in my opinion - I'll tell you why), the road through the clouds and Sibiu Medieval City will make you fall in love with Romania, I'm sure. :)
Departure from Bucharest towards Curtea de Arges (30 minutes to visit the legendary monastery). After this, the Transfagarasan road awaits with its brown bears that had made a habbit of greeting the tourists beside the road. (short stops just to take a photo FROM INSIDE THE CAR) Coming down into Transylvania we will visit the Old City Center of Sibiu, who was Europe's Culture Capital in 2007. After that, another 4h (normally) towards Bucharest or, if you don't want to make it a long day we can just climb back down from the top of the Transfagarasan (the same way we came). If we leave at 7. 00 AM from Bucharest, we can get back the earliest at around 7. 00 PM if we only go to the top and back. With visiting also Sibiu we have to add 2 hours, so about 9. 00 PM back at the hotel if there is no traffic. Of course, there will be other surprise stops on the way for the beautiful landscapes around (if we'll have the time). We'll decide everything together on the spot and be sure that I'll be at your service. :)
