This is the perfect tour for wine lovers. Our landscapes are a perfect symbiosis between sea and forest, mountains, valleys, and people. While sipping our wines you will get in touch with our roots, culture, and traditions. It is the fusion of unique knowledge, textures, and tastes. Since I remember, my family (and I could extend to the majority of the families on this island) produced wine for their own consumption and it's hard not to feel nostalgic when I think about it. In the last years, I have been learning more about our rich history in winemaking and visiting vineyards, talking with the persons behind all the processes has enhanced my ability, as a guide, to talk about Madeira's wines, fortified, red, white, rosé, wine spirits and grape varietals grown here.
